Planning Committee
Constitution
The NCR Planning Board under Section 4(1) & (2) of its Act stipulates the constitution of a Planning Committee. The Member Secretary of the Board is the ex-officio Chairman of the Planning Committee. The Members of the statutory Committee are given below:

Functions of the Planning Committee
As stipulated under Section 9 of NCR Planning Board Act, 1985, the key functions of the Planning Committee are:

(1) The functions of the Committee shall be to assist the Board in:
- (a) Preparation and coordinated implementation of Regional and Functional Plans
- (b) Scrutinizing Sub-Regional and Project Plans to ensure conformity
- (2) The Committee may recommend modifications in Sub-Regional or Project Plans
- (3) The Committee shall perform other functions as entrusted by the Board
